ORIANTHI Shreds It – Brian Wilson, Micky Dolenz, Doobies Jam

Posted - Events, News.

Hitting LA just in time to celebrate the holidays, we were thrilled to sponsor the KLOS Christmas Show at The Nokia Theatre….
Highlights of the evening included the amazing KLOS All-Star band, coming together to jam with some oldies and goodies and a few Christmas carols to add into the mix!
“The KLOS All Star Band then took the stage and celebrated the season with a variety of rock classics from a multitude of musicians.  Joining in this year were musical director and guitarist Marc Bonilla, The Beach Boys members Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, Monkees alum Micky Dolenz, former Eagle Don Felder (whose song “Hotel California” was a spine tingler last night!), Tesla’s Troy Luccketta (drums) and Jeff Keith (vocals), former Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine, bassist Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy & Quiet Riot), Steve Lukather of Toto, guitarist Orianthi (Alice Cooper), drummer Gregg Bissonette, Warrant’s Robert Mason on vocals, bassist (and nominee for best beard of the night) Lee Sklar, keyboardist Ed Roth, and many, many others!  As the guest musicians rotated throughout the set, the audience was treated to hits such as The Beach Boys classic “California Girls”, Monkees’ super-hit “I’m a Believer”, Tesla’s “Signs” (a sing-along for everyone in the crowd), and Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4”, just to name a few.” Read more of KLOS’s blog post on the event here.
Oriana showed up and wowwed the crowd with her amazingness.
Man, that hot 27 year old can jam!  I’m sure we will see much more of her in moving forward.

The Doobie Brothers- what an amazing band!  These guys are still just belting out the favorites to  their adoring fans, young and old.
