neil turbinLegendary lead guitarist and songwriter Dick Wagner, “The Maestro of Rock” (Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Lou Reed, and more), was inspired by the large gathering of rockers appearing at the Rock n Roll Autograph Show in Los Angeles.  “When I was asked to write a song to benefit the children of St. Jude, I thought about what a song can mean in the context of our inner lives, the part that is willing to give, to help others in a time of need,” Wagner says. “‘If I Had the Time (I Could Change the World)’ reflects the notion that we can do something positive to help change lives. The children are the purpose of this song, and everyone who participates in this recording gives a little of themselves.  By downloading this song, we can all make a difference – one download at a time.  We can literally change the world for a child.”  A rare occurrence in the industry and unique since the “We Are The World” hit released in the 80’s, talent featured in this song will span decades in the history of Rock n Roll.

559170_559010364125199_174585039_nFounder Corky Byer has been dreaming about creating a focused and upscale autograph show for Rock n Roll for over thirty years.  He has been a passionate autograph collector since he was a teenager, and has over 7000 pieces of signed memorabilia in his collection.  “I want every fan, whether a veteran collector or first-time autograph seeker, to feel like I did when I got my first signature.  I still remember the thrill of meeting the artist, and how special I felt being a part of the rock music scene,” says Corky.  “Over the years, as an avid Rock n Roll fan, I have seen that there is a real absence of Rock n Roll autograph events and I wanted to change that.  I believe in paying it forward and wanted this event to support saving lives through the efforts at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.”

St. Jude Children's Hospital Founder Danny ThomasSt. Jude was founded by the late entertainer and visionary, Danny Thomas, on his belief that “No child should die in the dawn of life.”  Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since it opened in 1962. Because of support from the general public, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.

“If I Had the Time (I Could Change the World)” will be released for download worldwide on November 1, 2013.  Buy it on iTunes,, and on digital download sites around the world.  All proceeds from downloads of the song will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
